Emergency first aid and coordinated response prevented serious harm
We’d like to recognize Paragon Security team Charlie Platoon of Commerce Court in Toronto for their actions during a medical emergency involving a male who experienced a narcotic-related overdose in March 2022.
The entire team – including Site Coordinator Jermaine Agius, Security Officers Jahn Isidro, Ali Dhakan, Anthony Galati, John Lagasca and Jesse Rancourt, and Client Service Manager Sathiya Gugathasan – provided high-quality emergency first-aid assistance, effective coordination with responding emergency services, and secured the incident scene to ensure safety for other patrons.
Their heroic actions during this incident prevented serious harm and possibly even death. These situations are never easy, but Charlie Platoon handled it with calm professionalism that always makes such a difference.
