Responsiveness and empathy made a real difference
While out on patrol, Officer Stuart Byman heard someone nearby in great distress. The person was calling out for help on behalf of a second person who required emergency services because they were unconscious.
Officer Byman immediately gave compressions to revive the unconscious person, and, under the direction of emergency services, was able to revive the person and keep them stable until emergency services could arrive in person on-scene.
