Chest compressions saved a life in a hospital setting

In October 2023, Relational Security Officer Barry Rhodes was on duty in Kelowna General Hospital, when he discovered a patient who was unresponsive and unattended by medical professionals.

Officer Rhodes immediately provided chest compressions and was able to ensure the man was breathing before healthcare professionals arrived on-scene.

Thank you, Officer Rhodes, for your very quick action in a stressful situation!
