Professionalism and sound judgement
While on duty, Security Guard Neta Penner discovered an individual who was unresponsive.
She promptly contacted EMS, provided clear details about the individual’s condition, and noted the presence of drug paraphernalia. Following dispatcher instructions, Penner safely assessed the situation, attempted to reposition the individual, and carefully avoided causing additional injury.
She confirmed the individual’s breathing rate to EMS dispatch and remained composed until paramedics arrived. Her calm demeanor, adherence to protocol, and focus on safety reflect her strong capability and dedication in a challenging situation.
