Teamwork and rapid response

While performing regular duties, Security Dispatcher Tania Grewal received a radio call from the Security Operations Control Center, reporting that Security Guard Colvin Anderson required immediate assistance.

Proceeding immediately to the scene, Security Guard Dilpreet Singh found Anderson lying on the floor, conscious but in distress. When asked what happened, he informed the team that his blood sugar had dropped precipitously low, and asked for a candy from his pocket.

Security Supervisor Brightal Singla and his team administered the candy and a soft drink to help bring Anderson’s blood sugar back to normal. Anderson was then able to self-administer his own insulin and confirmed that he was feeling better.

Supervisor Singla’s leadership, combined with the team’s rapid response, medical preparedness and empathetic care exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism in the security field. This incident serves as another powerful example of the lifesaving potential within the security field.

Thank you!
