CPR and Naloxone reversed a possibly-fatal overdose

During a routine Mobile Patrol in the summer of 2024, Mobile Security Supervisor Amanpreet Singh discovered a 30-something male lying on his back in front of an ATM vestibule.

He was not responsive to Supervisor Singh’s verbal prompts, and appeared to have overdosed. Two bystanders confirmed that this was in fact the case.

Supervisor Singh called 911 and proceeded to give the man CPR, during which he started to make hand and leg movements. He continued CPR until paramedics arrived approximately 7 minutes later. Paramedics treated the man with oxygen and Naloxone, after which he regained consciousness and was transferred to the hospital.

Supervisor Singh’s timely intervention, both in calling 911 and in maintaining CPR until medical help arrived, were instrumental in ensuring this incident was not a tragedy.

Thank you, Supervisor Singh!
