Timely intervention helped ensure a life was saved
During the course of his duties, Security Officer Benjamin Charbonneau encountered an individual who was unresponsive, had no pulse, and was not breathing.
Suspecting a drug overdose, Officer Charbonneau immediately administered multiple doses of Narcan and performed several minutes of chest compressions, ultimately succeeding in saving the individual’s life.
EMS arrived on-scene shortly afterwards and took over the situation. Without a doubt, Officer Charbonneau’s actions made a crucial difference, and if weren’t for his timely intervention, the outcome of this situation could have been far more dire.
