In May 2025, while working his normal shift, Assistant Site Manager Hardeep Gill responded to a call for a wellness check.
Upon arrival at the scene, he discovered a woman lying on the ground. A man who was with her tried to persuade security that she was fine, but ASM Gill conducted his own assessment and concluded that she was suffering from an overdose.
While another security person contacted paramedics, Gill administered two doses of Narcan to the woman.
The fire department attended the scene shortly thereafter, and, upon administering a third dose of Narcan, were able to rouse the woman. Police services, who also attended, then helped the woman to locate shelter.
We were advised that without Assistant Site Manager Gill’s intervention, the situation could have had a much more tragic outcome. Thank you, ASM Gill!
