Immediate first aid response
In April, 2024, Security Guard Bikramjeet Singh was on duty at a retail location when he received a call from an employee at a restaurant on the property. The employee reported that one of their colleagues had fainted and lost consciousness.
Assistant Supervisor Kunwarpreet Singh Tanda immediately arrived on scene and instructed bystanders to call 911 while he grabbed the nearby AED.
After checking the individual’s vital signs, Security Guard Singh and Assistant Supervisor Tanda began CPR, and the two of them continued until EMS arrived on site. By that time, a faint pulse had returned to the individual, who soon regained consciousness but was breathing irregularly.
The individual was taken to hospital for further assessment, and we have since learned that they recovered and their family expressed their gratitude to the security team.
