Remarkable professionalism and efficiency

While conducting a routine patrol at the TTC’s Dundas Station in Toronto, ASP Security Specialists Samar Chhabra and Jeswin Alex encountered an unresponsive individual exhibiting signs of a drug overdose, including the absence of breathing and a pulse.

Security Guard Alex immediately initiated CPR, while Security Guard Chhabra communicated with TTC Transit Control. They cleared the area to ensure emergency responders could access the scene. The team administered two doses of Naloxone, with Security Guard Alex continuing CPR between doses. Both guards remained focused and continued life-saving assistance until the subject regained consciousness and began breathing.

The quick thinking, clear communication and teamwork displayed by Security Guards Chhabra and Alex were crucial in saving the individual’s life. Their actions exemplify the highest standards of service, professionalism and commitment to public safety.
