Wound care averted a tragedy
In March 2025, while working at his usual location at a residential property, a tenant contacted security after observing a man bleeding heavily while walking to their unit.
Security Supervisor Bikram Singh and another security officer attended the site, where it was determined that the man was suffering from a deep wound on their head due to being assaulted by a person with a machete who was off the property.
Security Officer Kaur recognized that the wound was serious and immediately began providing first aid to stop the bleeding, while Security Supervisor Singh contacted 911 and assisted with crowd control. They then stayed with the man until paramedics and police services arrived.
The victim was then transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Thank you, Supervisor Singh and Officer Kaur!
