CPR ensured there was time for EMS to arrive

While on duty at a site in Toronto, Security Guard Kenneth De Guzman was notified of a medical emergency in the women’s washroom.

Immediately proceeding to the scene, De Guzman quickly realized that the woman was unresponsive, and began CPR. He continued CPR until EMS arrived and took over the situation. The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where we understand she was able to recover.
