Using the medical first aid kit saved a life
While on duty on Dundas Street in Toronto, Security Guard Sethu Sajeev discovered an unresponsive man on the sidewalk and called for assistance.
Security Supervisor Jervy Sicat and Security Guard Ade Delapo Adeoye arrived on scene with the medical bag and they placed the man into the recovery position.
Sicat then administered a dose of Naloxone and began chest compressions. After a couple of minutes, the man was still not breathing, so they administered a second dose of Naloxone, and within 5 minutes the man regained consciousness and left the area before EMS could arrive.
