Timely intervention prevented a tragedy
In the fall of 2024, Security Supervisor Shawn Hurteau was on duty near Kingston General Hospital when he responded to a report of a vulnerable person who had entered the waters of Lake Ontario.
Accompanied by Security Guards Reilan Dupuis, Aswin Raghutaman and Gurbaj Singh, Supervisor Hurteau bravely entered the water, took control of the vulnerable individual, and brought them back to safety on the shore.
Without the prompt action of Supervisor Hurteau and his team, the event could have turned tragic.
