Prompt first aid saved a life

In November 2024, while on duty, Security Guard Dalwinder Singh observed two unhoused individuals sleeping. In an attempt to wake them up, Singh discovered that one of them was unresponsive, and did not have a heartbeat or pulse.

Security Guard Singh immediately called 911 and then sprang into action, starting CPR. Once EMS arrived on scene, they were able to take over the situation, stabilized the individual and transported him to the hospital.

It was Security Guard Singh’s prompt action and first aid training that saved the man’s life.

Thank you!
