While closing his site at the end of his shift, Security Guard Jason Engel encountered a visitor to the site who had lost consciousness and was a suspected overdose.
Taking quick action, Security Guard Engel immediately provided Naloxone to the individual and was able to revive him before paramedics were able to arrive on-scene.
Observers of the incident reported that Security Guard Engel was professional, empathetic, and took control of the situation, which made a real difference to the outcome for this individual.
