Fast action and calm response saved a life
Canadian Security Lifesaver Association would like to recognize our Q1 2023 winner, Security Officer James Glendinning of Commissionaires.
While on duty, Officer Glendinning heard a loud noise and instinctively called for help. He then looked outside and noticed what appeared to be an injured person. He immediately ran to the aid of the injured person to assist them.
Officer Glendinning performed first aid on the injured person, using his uniform shirt to apply pressure to the injury until EMT arrived to transport the injured person to hospital. At the time of the incident, Officer Glendinning was not certain that the threat had left the site. He simply saw an injured person and ran to their aid.
