Composure and professionalism under pressure

While conducting their regular duties, Shift Supervisor Sahil Hameed, Security Officer Jasmeen Kaur and Site Security Manager Banjot Singh discovered a man sitting in the loading bay beside a garbage bin.

Upon conducting a wellness check on the man, they determined that he was breathing but unconscious. Kaur immediately contacted 911, while Hameed and Singh continued to try to wake the man.

At the direction of the 911 operator, the man was laid down on his back and the team started CPR, until the arrival of the fire department, which administered a first dose of Narcan. Paramedics attended the site shortly afterwards, and administered another dose of Narcan while chest compressions continued. The man regained consciousness and was taken to hospital.

Thanks to the observation skills, teamwork and professionalism of Hameed, Kaur and Singh, a tragedy was prevented. Thank you!
